Kabarnet Agricultural show has over the last three years grown tremendously to be an event of great value to the residents of Baringo County and the region.
The show is now playing a great role in promoting excellence in agriculture, providing a forum for exchange of agricultural and agribusiness information thereby spurring a paradigm shift towards commercial agriculture and growth of allied industries and connecting farmers to potential markets.
I am happy to have hosted Deputy President William Ruto today as he officially opened the Annual Kabarnet Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show 2016.
On behalf of the people of Baringo, I express sincere gratitude to the DP for accepting my invitation to grace this year’s event. I also thank all fellow leaders and government officials, all the farmers, stakeholders, business people, development partners, exhibitors, residents and members of various levels of learning institutions who found time to join us for the auspicious occasion.
