Baringo County Government, in partnership with theEuropean Union (EU) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UnitedNations (FAO) organised a community sensitization to develop a Local Physicaland Land Use Plan for Kokorwonin Informal Settlement within Eldama Ravine Town.

The initiative, which is being undertaken through theDigital Land Governance Programme (DLGP), aims to promote land tenure securityfor residents of Kokorwonin and enhanced livelihood through tenureregularization.

The team was led by the CEC Lands Housing and UrbanDevelopment Arch. Reuben C. Rutto and the Regional Physical planner Mr. SammyOkwaro.

The Kokorwonin residents agreed to work togethertowards the securing of ownership documents.
