The inspection focused on assessing the functionality of hydrants across strategic areas of the municipality, including Pleasant Dove, the Monument area, the Assembly, and the Market. The evaluation confirmed that these hydrants are operational and ready to be deployed in case of a fire outbreak.

Further enhancing Kabarnet's fire preparedness, plans are in motion to install additional hydrants in high-risk zones, such as Kasoyo, the Police Line, Kiberenge, the Public Works area, Kaptimbor, and the Main Stage area. These upgrades are expected to strengthen the municipalitys fire-fighting infrastructure, ensuring swift and sustained responses to emergencies.
