In efforts towards strengthening its emergency response services, the Management of Kabarnet Municipality has held direct consultations with members of the Municipal fire Unit to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
In a focused seminar designed to foster open dialogue, municipal leaders met one-on-one with firefighters and fire professionals, creating a platform for candid discussions on the realities they face in protecting lives and property. The engagement underscored the municipalitys commitment to listening to frontline responders and developing practical solutions to enhance their effectiveness.
The forum identified urgent needs within the department while laying the groundwork for policies and strategies aimed at boosting morale, improving teamwork, and increasing overall preparedness for emergencies.
The meeting brought together key leaders, including Municipal Manager Dr. Salome Tomno alongside members of the Municipal Board, Lands and Urban Development Chief Officer Charles Kipkulei, Director of Disaster Management Mr. Michael Baimet, Fire fighters led by therr Fire Chief among other stakeholders.
The consultative engagements highlight a shared resolve to strengthen the department and support those who serve on the front lines.
