Eldama Ravine Sub-County Referral Hospital now has three operational surgical theatres following the completion of a new theatre, with plans already underway to establish a fourth in a move aimed at strengthening the facilitys surgical capacity.
During an inspection visit to the hospital today, Governor Benjamin Cheboi reviewed the newly constructed and operationalized theatre, noting that the expansion will help improve access to surgical services and reduce waiting times for patients seeking specialized care.
The visit also included a tour of the hospitals pharmacy to assess the availability of essential medicines, with the Governor confirming that the facility is adequately stocked, assuring patients of continued access to necessary drugs.
In addition, H.E. Cheboi engaged with patients at the facility to gather feedback on the quality of services being offered. The feedback, Governor noted in a post on his socials, will help inform ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and ensure residents receive timely and effective healthcare.
Healthcare remains a key priority in the countys development agenda, with the government pledging continued investment in health infrastructure, medical supplies, and personnel to improve the well-being of residents.
