Peer-to-peer learning remains a powerful avenue for knowledge exchange, enabling institutions and counties to share experiences, learn from one another and adapt proven approaches to accelerate development.
It is against this backdrop that the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Blue Economy, led by County Executive Committee Member Hon. Risper Chepkongá, hosted a delegation of staff from the Turkana County Government on a benchmarking visit.
The delegation is in Baringo to learn from irrigation systems supported by the County Irrigation Development Unit (CIDU) and implemented across various irrigation schemes, with a view to drawing lessons and experiences that can inform irrigation development in Turkana County.
