The representatives from China Roads and Bridges Corporation (CRBC) a contractor earmarked to build the Kabarnet Stadium conducted a visit to the site with a view to harmonize designs to conform with the master plan they have.
The team which was hosted by Youth and Sports chief officer Denis Korir, Public Works Chief Officer Timothy Kibowen and Chair Standing Committee for Sports in the County Assembly Hon. Ayub Kibet took time to review the designs already presented and the possibility of implementation on the ground.
The development comes barely a fortnight after pronouncement by president William Ruto during an event at Kabarak that the Kabarnet Stadium was going to be completed by next year.
The chief officer gave an undertaking that they are going to set up a multi-sectral committee to address the concerns raised by the locals regarding the stadium.
